5 on the 4th

It was wonderful to be able to have some extra time to spend with family this week and run a 5k with them. We went early in the morning to the egg lawn and started our day strong. Following that I continued working on my mini scripture case, hydro dipping controllers, and family tree projects. The coffee table has been put on hold until we can get a router to round the edges. Somehow I am doing well in my classes and have only 3 weeks left in the semester. We saw fireworks with the Bettenhausens and I tried my homemade board game on them. Kiara made incredible bundt cakes with Scott. Kiara has also been experimenting with home grown zucchini and made 2 different kinds of bread. They were great. Kiara, Sundy, and some of the Bettenhausens have been doing yoga together. Kiara is reading Sundys new book she published.

When I was younger I thought that people who "fell in love" so fast where crazy. How can you know that you want to be with them after only a few weeks. It's crazy! Right? But I grew up and found that it's not that crazy. When it's right the Lord will let you know. And that's exactly what happened with Cody and I. Cody and I (Kiara) met about a year ago. We both were new freshmen to BYU-I. We dated for about a month and knew that we wanted to spend forever together. On April 17th of this year we decided to make that wish come true. We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Louisville Kentucky Temple. I'm so grateful that we did. These last 7 months have been crazy and amazing! I couldn't imagine spending forever with anyone else. Well that's a little about us! We can't wait to see what the future holds!

It's a BOY!

So the last 7 months have been amazing! Cody and I found out in August that we were expecting! We are so excited to welcome a little child into our forever family! We are due at the beginning of May!  By the way did I mention we are having a little BOY! We are super excited to  welcome him in May!

Many things to be thankful for

Here are some of the things we are thankful for: The way of kings This month the fourth book of this series came out and we started listening to it over Audible. It was introduced to me by the DeGooyer's and has become one of my favorite book series. I like the way it presents creative ideas and teaches me writing as well as good principles. Container and Packaging Everyone was blessed with a gift card for the hectic time it has been to keep up with all the orders and incoming trucks. Though it was difficult, it also gave me a chance to grow in my abilities. We also have been getting new technology to help us be more effective. This has been a big relief to me because it has made my job significantly easier and more enjoyable. The DeGooyers Although I do not like staying with them I am grateful for the chance we had to come to Kentucky to be able to take care of Spence.
